Reet time to make the ibiza into a b road weapon.
Decided to go with the following:
K03S turbo
FMIC
Remapped ECU
Brembo 4 pot brakes
Seat Sports suspension (bilsteins with eibach springs)
LSD
17" oz super leggeras in anthracite
Hoping for about 250bhp and 270/80 lb/ft torque, hopefully with the handling and stopping power to match it.
i r excited

yesh my dear i did.
Dont want to go the Jabba IHI route, as id be looking at stage 2 at least and theres like a year long waiting list? not to mention it getting too expensive.
do you think it will make the power im guessing with those mods? not sure what boost it will run but know that the K03S turbo can hold max boost much higher into the rev range. The standard one begins to die at 4800rpm

Out of interest how much ££££ would you need to spend to get 250BHP out of one of these????
How would it rate against a std 240/250 WRX Impreza???

scoob would have it off the line.... 4WD obviously
but on the run then the power : weight of a 250bhp Ibiza would push in front of a uk wrx

for 270-280bhp jabba sport do the following package....
Turbo Upgrade - £1770
IHI turbo
Manifold adapter
Fuel Pressure regulator
boost pipes etc. etc.
plus you will need
Fitting of the above = £400
Re-map - £475

Have been looking into getting a biza myself, and the VAG 1.8 20VT engines are a good base for tuning, but mr insurance man wants to rape me for a policy on one

Yes years waiting list, knowing me might not have the car by then!
and if you want to go the IHI route best value for money is stage 3 and you need to consider uprated clutch, defo LSD, bigger injectors, fuel pump, and fingers crossed your gearbox doesnt go pop. so to do it properly looking at ££££`s.
The route im taking will not require any of the above although im still going for LSD.
The 1.8 20 v lump has forged internals and can handle 350bhp, but when u go above 250 its the transmission on the ibiza that becomes the weak point.
The guy at AM motorsport told me his 240bhp ibiza keeps up with his mates prodrive scooby (305 bhp) up until 120.
