Ill be 21 in 2 years time and ive heared the insurance drops loads when you pass the magic 21 age.
I would have been driving a 1.2 16v for 4 years i would want a nice fast car 1.6 16v at least which is reliable and must look good and must be decent on insurance (IG 5-15)
Would be looking to spend roughly £5k-8k
Thinking along the lines of -
Clio sport 172 (5-6k) decent looking, fast
Slighlty modded 106 gti (3-5k) Nice looking, fast, unrealiable, bad interior
Any other ideas? doubt ill want a C SRi 1.8 or a B Sport as ive had both old and new corsa's now and would want a change in 2 years

If you've got two years to think about it then just save and see whats on the market then.

206 gti's arent exactly slow, quicker than most things on the road but not rapid either. Not sure about reliability, prob better than the 106 gti and 306 as it's a much newer car

Nik if you was selling that silver 106 gti in 2 years time i would have snapped that off you, it was mint.
Not a big fan of 306s tho....

How expensive would the new shape civic type-r's would be in 2 years time?
2001-2002 model with 50k on the clock? Must be around the £7-8k mark? What they like on insurance for 21 year olds, i have a soft spot for honda's
