Anyone got any pics/specs/links??

My dad is gunna look at one as seem to be a fair price 2nd hand as a 2nd car.

Do they come in auto or just 6spd man?

Anyone driven one?

their all right i suppose...
depends on what you want one for really... performance is ok, but the gearing is terrible on them...
i do think there are some autos out there but not many

Its for me dad needs a 2nd car for business, doesnt wanna spend loads so R32 in not an option hes buying an m3 too so speed is not essential but he dont want no slow peice of poop.

These go for about £10k 2nd hand and seem to be good value, whats it like to drive marc?

my cousin has one. very nice cars. golf's are nice enough inside and this one has enough "umph" . the V6 is nice and smooth. and i think they do come in auto... not 100% sure though.

The power delivery is very smooth, more of a tourer than a hot hatch. Me and my dad went on some back roads yeasterday and it goes up hills etc at ease in 4th or 5th gear ( 6 speed box) The only downside is that the throttle isnt very responsive.
