Hiya

Just lookin on ebay and came across some bloke selling a chip which he claims will 'instantly boost power & torque' to any engine from 1988 upwards except turbo and diesel engines, he claims it could add up to 20bhp or maybe more. Just wondering if anyone has tried these and did they work????? ta

Yee, they aren't a chip, they're a resistor that you pop in your air mass meter telling your engine that it is colder outside than it is... It makes your engine overfuel and eventually buggers it...

I've got a chip made by McCain that will give you extra power
