my insurance runs out on july 16th and hopefully ill have 1 yrs no claims bonus how long does it last for i been told 3 months and 2 yrs?

sorry i should of said i wont be renewing my insurance as i am selling my car but will be getting another car year after

What he is asking is, how long is a NCB valid for?

Say if he does'nt take insurance out for a couple of years will the NCB still be valid.

or just get your self a 1.0 old metro or the like, insure it for 1000 miles per year, third party only and stick it in a garage, then you'lll have another years ncb for when you get the next car, depends which will work out more of a saving
