bit of an essay but here we go:-

got pulled by police on 21th november and was told that had been seen popping flames and reported on the 20th of november along with another 6 writen complaints on other dates! got pulled 1hour after by traffic police and warned, REPORTED, and interviewd in the car answering all questions bout the car and flames! got asked 2 do a flame but i had disconected it by then, took spark plug out! said i wud here if any action wud b taken in 3 weeks

6 months went by and i got court summons bout 1 month ago! off duity polic officer had put complaint in early december - AFTER i had been pulled over! bit suspicious i think!!!!!!

so summons said my car was in dangerious state, so i worte summit apologising and saying sorry and pleeding guilty! court was yesterday and just rung 2 c wot happened :-

NO points and in total with police fees = £93 fine!

i am so lucky was expecting points and more fine, good news of the day!!

that was lucky mate. you should told the pigs to stand infront the exhaust while you went to test the flame.

Roast pork. hehe

yeah lucky that, but bit gay how long it took for it to go through. Would have been silly getting points for a few flames

I think if you had hired a decent legal rep then you'd have got off. as far as I can see there is no proof that you had any device fitted to the car. if you got flames then you could have somthing wrong with your car ( not an offense) but then you would make your car flame on the road so really you deserve it. no sympathy
