How many hours would it take a mechanic to do everything i.e. - taking the engine out of donor car and transfering it to my car.

Also whats the rough total price of parts? £700 ish?

jesus that long. I know a couple of people on here do it 1500 all in so was just wondering how many hours it'd take just to compare prices.

think about it 35 man hours is monday to friday with a half day friday

My Dad wanted a dirty D engine is his old VW Passat, they said it would take 5 days and cost £500. He had the engine too

average labour charge for people on the boards seems to be about £500 excluding the brake conversion (which is easy enough to do at home even for a novice)
