cheapest i found was 260-300 for unit and fitting, then 109 for the yars sub
thinking of the RAC trackstar which is more but automatically goes off if you car is moved, more expensive but if i am spending the money may as well

The features to the Clifford 600 (650, cant remember which now, pissed lol) are designed so that every attempt to knick the car is covered.
The exterior sensors for a start warns theives off. The tilt sensor, so if your car was jacked up in an attempt to nick the wheels or disconect the battery the alarm would sound. The black jack is the best thing tho, (as long as you remember to to disarm it !!!) Everytime the car is turned on the cose needs punching in. Everytime a door is opened when the engine is running, the code needs punching in. If it isnt, the alarm will beep 10 seconds later (in case its you thats forgotten!) then 10 seconds after that, the engine cuts out. So if you're stood at trafic lights and some nodhead decides to rag you out the car to nick it, the door will be opened. He wont know the code so you trott along in the direction they are going then kick ten balls out of them when the car stalls (or phone the cops
You can add onto to the Clifford 300 too to get all the features of the 600.
BUT..... Its probably my luck, but I have had a number of problems with the alarm going faulty. Soerted at RAM asap, granted, but inconvenienced non the less with bits failing and being left with a car that the alarm wont turn off on, or wont restart after being turned off.
Features - EXCELLENT
Reliability - Shite, but thats just cause I've had a bad run.
