hello,

some bum head has just reversed into me, he had given me his details so on but i dont actually no what to do and stuff..

any help..?

if i go through his insurance will it affect me in any way at all..? and what shoul i do to do this..? he said if i get it done privetly he will pay but im a bit iffey, would rarther go through insurance a think, but didnt know what to do or if it would affect my insurance or anything to do with me..?

anybody know..?

Ring your insurance , tell them what happened and give them his details.

personally if he is willing to pay out of his pocket privately i wud do that, as long as u sort out where it goes etc

get the damage checked and quoted then get the money off him...

Or ring insurance tell them the situation and that your gunna get a quote for the repairs first and do it privately.

it will go through his insurance so yours won't be affected (providing he admits it was his fault to his insurance company).

Like eveyone else says, it would be a lot easier doing it privately, I'd be definitely asking for some cash up front though cos you could get it repaired and then he could turn round and tell you to bollocks

go to a garage tell them what youve told us and that you want a quote for the repair work that will be valid for 14 days then tell him you want the cash for it and get it done once you have the cash
