right i need to insure my car for PV
have a DA3 postcode am 18
ran up liverpool victoria who i was insured with before, they said they cant insure me because my car come up on there system as a 1.2 (orgnial engine) when its now a 1.4,
i was insured with liverpool vitoria 2 months ago, on the same car, with the same engine etc, nothing has changed, so why have they ?
i changed all the info with the DVLA and have the V5 proving engine number, cc, etc etc
now whos gonna insure me on a stupidly modded 1.416v, and second of all will anyone, if all there systems show its a 1.2

you should be able to fax a copy of your V5 to liv vic & also you can get them to check with the DVLA & also the previous insurance details if they stated it was a 1.4
ring them back up & just see what there playin at as you were insured previously

It would be in thier interest for thier systems to be up to date. Tell them to sort it out or you'll thake your business else where... Insurance companys need a good kick ip the arse sometimes, as they rely on taking young people for a ride...

thats happened to me b4 now, think with tescos tho.
they said the engne was different to what it was, however they changed it without me proving anything.
liv vic said the same thing to me with a 2.0 quote.
"Sorry but there isnt a 2.0 corsa on my screen so i cant insure you"
your situation is a bit different tho!

either that, or just mention to em that you are gonna inform the insurance ombudsman (or whatever it is) as they are using incorrect vehicle details to generate insurance quotes/policies
