Last year me my mate and our lasses went to a caravan site in the lakes, it was on a huge overflow field right onthe lake, it was £6 a night for a tent and was a pub just down the road (pooley bridge) and was just off the main roads, not a bad idea.

I'm well up for this, although I do have a few thoughts about the logistics of it...

I'm guessing we'll all kind of be driving in convoy really? Hence those knowing the route will need to stay in front for the best part?

Either way, finer details aside it sounds like a winner to me

No, everyone gets a map of the route and travels in their own time. Big convoys are a problem. I'd recommend that we enforce a 5 car limit to groups of people traveling together.

Yeah i'd agree space out a bit and everyone try and learn the route before the day, also employ the services of a co-driver

About 90 miles or thereabouts

Should get round in just under an hour
