hi,my cars goin for a vehicle identity check on tuesday as its damaged repaired,however car is all finished now apart from the front bumper which i am awaiting on still from illusion autostyle ,anyway,does anyone know if i present the car minus the bumper if itll still pass the check? gonna phone tomorrow morning but just wondered if anyone knew in the meantime? many thanx

no rules m8, u just take the car in and leave it with them for 30 mins then they come and get u, tell u the result and issue u with a VIC pass check!

Then you can apply for the cars V5 the normal way via a V62 and the DVLA shud have it on their records that the car passed the VIC with no probs and that its ok to issue the V5.

so is the fact the car is missing the front bumper a fail on an MOT test?
