Been offerd a W reg 2000 Saxo VTS and £1,000 cash in part ex for my 106GTI; dunno what to do as this looks to be worth around £5k; but its driving a Saxo till i get the reg docs and sell it thats puttin my off!

Yeah its the millage of the saxo that concerns me; but all that i would need to sell the saxo for is £4,800 which would be under book price!
