I live in Northern Ireland, If I buy a car in mainland UK, baring in mind N.I is part of the UK, do i have to do any exporting/importing/documentation through anyone?

PS (*) - I am well aware that N.I is not abroad... but then its all fucked up isnt it

nah i dont think thats the case in N.I, if u were taking the car to Ireland tho I think thats classed as exporting so u wud then but not for N.I

Give the DVLA a call to confirm tho

i sold my civic coupe to a lad from ireland.
not sure if it was north or not, but he reckoned he'd have to pay almost a grand to import it back to ireland.
