would a c16xe be ok in the back of my corsa? if i covered it in rugs and shit. tied it down? or will i have to sort something else out? it quite far! bout 3hrs

Should be ok, just tie it down and make sure that theres no extra oil or water in it.

No heavier than a person, just pack it well and make sure its as dry as you can get it.

I took one from lincoln to luton so heavy no need to tie it down.

I doubt you will lift it with gearbox atttached. Took me and another bloke to lift the block into my car and no I'm not small and weak

You going to use a hoist to lift it in? Stick it half in the spare wheel well maybe?

Engine & box will fit in the boot, may be an idea to drop the seats though, remove the rear carpet section, some sort of thick board & strap it down.



Thats a 1.4 though, but the 1.6 is still a small-block engine.
