Heres the first of a few photos of the finished car. It ran perfectly on its first event in my hands - not a single problem until I blew the manifold/exhaust gasket 100m from the finish line of Stage 6!
Very impressed with the car, handled and braked perfectly, only had to play with tyre pressures all day.
Took the first three stages cautiously to see how the car would react, then went for it on the last three. Overall time was poor due to the first three, so 7th in class and 53rd overall was a good result.
More photos to come from Stoneyginger

Mate, suspension turrets? How easy is it to weld the inside of them to strengthen it up? Is this something you have done or is it not worth it?

Cheers Ollie - as for suspension turrets, best to get Harry Hockly fabricated plates then just weld them in.
On my car we have strengthened plates plus a strut brace - all starkmotorsport fabricated parts which arent for public sale
Not really needed for normal road use though.

Should be out in June and July but Otterburn have pulled out of the Championship, so might have to go into England to compete. Otherwise it'll be August at Knockhill or Ingliston

Been away down south, but home today and jacked the car up at home to have a look at the exhaust. Was expecting a small hole, or for the seal between the manifold/exhaust flanges to have gone, but no, Ive sheared the manifold flange right off!
Got to take it up to the workshop to show my service crew, but doubt i'll be able to weld it together again so might have to get a new manifold! Grr!
