just wondering what r the problems if i install NOS onto a 1.4 16v engine? it would give out 50-75 BHP a shot like, but would engine cope?

any info would help!

i think i wud be ok
a lad near me did it n his was runnin ok and it was fast as fcuk

Probably better to run smaller jets? 25bhp ones? 50 max i would have thought on a 1.4? or am i bullsh1ttin?

don;t see the point of cheating though by just sticking nos on an engine, far better and more reliable to stick a manztel on it to get the 20bhp or so

True, but then again Mantzel and Nos would be a fair amount of power for a smaller amount of money. Power is power in my book whether is with NOS or otherwise.

Yup, morelike 25-50bhp respectivly (if not less).

Nitrous does work, but the bottle is a pain, plus u need to keep filling it up.

A 11lb bottle will last about 2-4 minutes continous. Much rather a bigger engine that has that performance as standard or other tuning such as engine upgrades.

I wouldn't consider nos until there was hardly any else left to do on the engine (i.e throttle bodies, pistons, cams etc)
