OK...I bought a car 3 weeks ago from a dealer. All seemed fine. Well chuffed with it.

Week went by then:

the door wouldn't shut and would pop open whilst driving (shit me right up :lol.

Handbrake didn't work at all.

hose from air filter taped together in middle

Rear drivers side shock went and arm collapsed with wheel facing inwards

Took it back, they fixed it all.
Got it back then engine management light started coming on and manifold seems to be blowing.

So did some digging, turns out the car had been ragged too fook and had a new engine put in it @ 30,770 in 2002, i just bought the car with 34k on clock....cannot be correct mileage, is a 2001 car with 1 owner. Didn't get any service history or nowt.

So took it up with dealer, threatened them with trading standards and they've offered me an '02 plate same model car but totally standard. Test drove it before but it just doesn't seem to have the same kick. Is my mind playing tricks cause it doesn't have an induction kit i wonder...?

So i've got the 2000 car with a dodgy history, incorrect mileage, but nice alloys, phat sound system, induction kit and god knows what else mods.

OR

The standard 2002 car, totally standard, 32k genuine provable milage with 1 yr manufacturers warranty still left?

Seriously, take the new one. I bought my RST and it turned out to have things wrong with it, took me a lot of time and money to put it right, I should have just walked away in the first place. Do the sensible thing.
