For those that were interested here is the RR plot which shows the before and after bhp/torque for the dastek unichip.

before was : 198.3 bhp & 182.1 lb/ft torque

After is now : 202.8 bhp & 192.5 lb/ft torque

In addition to these mods from Courtenay : (which they claim + 30 bhp)

Air box modifications, Courtenay Sport Panel filter, 4 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator, Superchip mapped to Courtenays specification, Reworked hi-flow throttle body and inlet centre section, High flow inlet manifold divider, Lightened Flywheel (9kg reduction), Cool running thermostat, Competiton Magnecor Leads, Cat Back Magnex twin slash exhaust.

Bearing in mind EVO list a standard Gsi at 193bhp/192 lb/ft of torque, but in reality most Gsi`s seem to make around 185 bhp tops.

Car runs like a dream now, really smooth, the torque doesnt suffer the nasty dip that it did before and the car pulls right through the rev range.

Not too chuffed at Courtenay though especially with their dodgy superchip map, Where the torque dropped of before the car was actually running lean, so looks like the FSE was ok and the superchip was to blame for dodgy fuelling.

Not anything along the NA route, its had everything done, its already got hi-torque cams in from MSD. I guess the head could be gas flowed but that wouldnt free up much power. Never seen a vaux V6 with throttle bodies bet its expensive and its a day to day car, everyone seems to have runnign probs with TB's. Beardys project with his direct port NOS is giving me ideas though, 25 bhp per cylinder x 6

well I did not think he would gain a huge amount top end. most UNCIHIPS I have seen don;t gain a huge amount on standard engines. plus I'm suspecting that there will be some mapping on the superchip which is a nother reason why you may not see much however what you can see is nice mid range gains. it's really only between 4000-4500rpm that the gains are not as big.

are you sure your throttle assemble is fully opening. spark plugs ok, everything working in proper order. although they are different rollers you can clearly see that high up the rev range your car is producing more power/torque. still think the FSE is not required.
