Because in my experience ford engines are very asthmatic top end i personally don't like them....

Much prefer vauxhall always have. Never seem to have any problmes with them

Use a valver - I don't know if the RWD bellhousing is available for 1600 engine.

I thought that the gear boxes on the 1600 was interchangeable with the valver?
