It has been 1 year and 2 months since this old bag of a woman pulled out infront of me.
Basically im reversing out of a narrow street (cars either side of me with enough room for 1 car 1 way) and an old bag of a woman pulls out of a parking space causing little more than a scuff on my rear right hand side of my car and her left door and wing caused alot of damage.
The old bad blamed me for the accident so i phoned up the police to sort it out, the police basically told me to calm down when they got there and were kinda on my side as from where the cars came to rest it was obviously her fault, but the police said its nothing they can do and you will have to sort it out with both of your insurance companies... fine i said ok.
Been phoning up my previous insurance company over the past months and nothing seems to be getting done, i have sent of pictures of the street and a witness statement and their useless (Norwich union) they told me on the phone MONTHS back that from the evidence and pictures that its more than likley her fault but will end up more than likley 50-50.
What can i do its been ages since i last heared from them.
To be honest I dont care if i dont get my car fixed now as its only a slight scuff and i will fix this when i get my car colour coded but its just a matter that i dont want an accident that was my fault on my name!
The last ive heard from the insurance company must be 6-8 months so they must have dropped the case?
Btw when i do go for new insurance do i tell them about this accident as it was not my fault. Is there some sort of database that says how/what accident that person has had (like the dvla for points on licence etc)
Thanks for reading the essay!
