howdies all,
anyone got any info of speeding penalities? like how many points for doing blah blah speed and fine amounts etc

i did 103 on mway
got 6points and £400 fine
also did 41 in 30 got 3points £60 fine

well i believe i got caught, either that or the man in the van was blind as a tit as i was the only car on the dual carriageway  its a 40 limit, but i accel'd up to about 48-50 then slowed down and was doing about 45-48 as i was in view, although the van saw me before i saw it 
im think maybe 3 points and a 60 quid fine? and yesh, its all my fault blah blah and im not moaning or nout, i got caught with my nickers down far and sqaure.
Just that it will be my first lot of points and ive had my licence nearly 4 months  so im curious to know how it will effect insurance etc (currently on my old dears, but getting my own soon).

I saw on some police program the other day, some guy only get 3 points for doing 98 mph on a motorway 
that's pretty lax aint it? he went to summon's too - I reckon that might be more leniant than fixed penalty.

P.S. what do people reckon I'd get if I got caught doing around 110 mph on a mway or straight empty really long dual carriagway? 
Hopefully will never happen, but if it ever does - what would you get?

banned anything over 100mph could get you banned

yeah i saw that made me laugh how the yorkshire police did there speed checks 40 mph road we allow them 10% plus another 4mph so 48 mph and they didn't care.and that nutter on the motorbike that was pissed and stoned with no brakes that killed his girlfriend when he hit that focus

i think that some people done get fine and points but instead get invited to a speed seminar for £50? program on monday about speed cameras..gonna watch it called real story by fiona bruce?

My mate was doing 100 on a dual and 70 in a 40 he undertook my other mate who he was racing and they both got off with producers.

lol yes, i over took u both @100+ and then slowed down to 60, then both u2 overtook me and 100 and the copper just flew by me and stopped u both lol, u got lucky being let off at 100 on a dual lol
