I think it's to do with Paypal or something like that, I've had someone pay me for something that way and that's how it showed up on my bank statement.

when you transfer funds out of your paypal account that is the name that appears on your statement

I've no idea. Just take the cash and say no more about it. At one point, PayPal didn't pay £100 into my account and then charged me £14 to re-transfer it. It's a rip off comp tell ya
