Hi
I've got this day planned out on the 10th, so that my mate can have a few laps around the track with a F355 and a Mercialago (sp?) and other cars.
We've pretty much booked it, but the problem is she had 3points on her license, so sent it off to clear the points. She received her license last Wednesday, but what they did was renewed the date, ie, they've given her a new license dated, so it looks like she's only had it for a week.
Now the problem is this, the guys at the track want a license that's at least 1 year old, otherwise she can't drive the cars.
I'm gonna phone up first thing monday morning to enquire, but when you send off to clear your license do they reset the date of the license to that day? is this normal practice?
It's her 21st, and have kinda planned it since last year, she's been naggin all year, and i'll not be a happy bunny if it all goes tits up!!
If you can lend me any advise, and what to do, so i can try sort it out on monday. Its going to be cuttin it very fine, as the day is on a wednesday, i only have monday and tuesday to sort it out.

Doesn't the paper bit of the license still show the original date?
I'm having a prob with a Red Letter day I was given for my b-day... says I must hold a CLEAN driving licence
Not sure exactly what they mean... might have to sell it to someone? It's a Ferrari Testarossa session...

Yeah, you do a 'find the racing line' lap with an instructor in a Golf GTi, then you do 4 laps of the circuit in the Testarossa

didn't think of the green part of the license. will have to check that.
but in the meanwhile, anyone got any more ideas?
And yes, u get a lap in a renult of somesort. then u actually drive the cars!!
