alright i was working there last year putting up the marquees. it's just north of edinburger over the forth road bridge.
you can stay in a tent on the site or stay in edinburger. they run buses everyday it's on alll day to and from edinburger city centre to the site.
hope this helps

Dr Pepper, In reply to ur qns Balado is near Kinross, like pop says just north of Edinburgh. From edinburgh should take you approx. 50 mins to get to Kinross via the motorway, then from Kinross a 5 min drive if that I used to live in Kinross for 6 years, so i used to walk to T in the park and then walk home in a fair state at about 3 am.
You can stay in a tent, but in all honesty i wouldnt; people peeing on your tent, slashing it, robbing it .. well it does spoil the weekend. Your best bet is staying in Kinross (if u book very early), failing that Stirling or Edinburgh. Shuttle buses are running all the time, so that shouldnt be a problem.
Oh and irn bru is about 40p in the shops, or 1 quid at T in the park - some what of a novelty and a watered down pint of tennants - £3.50 Hope this helps you, any qns feel free to ask

i saw the site after it finished and i reckon it would be brutal camping!! the area is like a bombsite with rubbish and ripped tents and stuff everywhere.
good luck with that one
