id say milage and worn g'box
possibly damaged worn steering
but they are all serviced etc so i wouoldnt worry

Na I spoke to my driving instructor about this one. All the cars are leased from Vauxhall and the milage can only go up to summin like 15k before they have to be sent back, or after 6 months, whichever comes first. The only thing that normally gets damaged is the handbrake, as driving lessons are carried out under controled conditions. So I was told anyway...

My Dad is a driving instructor. I'd keep away with BSM cars because the instructors dont own them like private instructors do, therefore they don't give a shite about them.
I'd also think the amout they hit kurbs doesn't do the steering much good. Also worn brake pads/discs.

that is in no way true whatsoever. the terms of BSM and Vauxhall lease is that the car is taken off the road when there is a repair that doesnt warrant having it done, ie not worth it. we have loads of bsm cars in most have doe 60k plus!!!!!

You'd have a car that was never thrashed, valleted regularly, etc. Probably up there with ex-cop cars.

yeah mine was an ex BSM !! only got 39000 on a 98 R. Clutch went bout 2 weeks ago, but we expected it would go soon anyway cos we got a clutch guarentee(sp !!) when me mum bought the car 4 years ago

tis true. most of em have minor scuffs etc, and u know theyre looked after proper bo, cu its part of leasing agreement
