after 9 hours i managed to delete linux off the new pc i bought, reformat and partition it, get around the fact it wont boot cds and dosnt have a floppy disk AND get XP on it by installing 98 first!! cheers to richie, adam, fester and si and a few otheres (cant rememebr who as im sooooo tired)for all their help lol

fuck me this stuff is hard! im off to bed, pics of it all working and fitted 2moro peep

add to that both cds were back ups *ahem* so i had 2 make boot disks and then burn them onto cds as boot disks in nero

i had 2 for 98 and 6 xp ones lol

cos it came with linux and i dont like it, too used to windows and i chose xp as i am having trouble with wide screen drivers for my screen and touchsreen interface in 98

i just need it working for 2moro night, then im working on speeding boot up (probs 98 again lol)

linux is awesome! just need to know how to use it, and learning it...

yea installin linux is a headache the first time, i fried my harddrive, killed 80%+ clusters on the drive... but it was under warrenty soooo...
