Just read on bbc news that pedro mendes is discussing personal terms over a £3million move to Rangers today.
This would lead me to believe that we won't move for Davis, Mendes has always looked decent when I have seen him play. Dont know about the price tag though

We've just signed the Peter Crouch of the Lower leagues

Got him from Wakefield. He's been on week long trial's with Blackburn & Crystal Palace who both offered him contracts but he rejected them to sign for us as he is an Huddersfield fan & he's never wanted to play for anyone else 
Paid £100K for him, which is a lot for a non-league player, but in a few years that might turn out to be a bargain, here's hoping

No one, no matter how big a fan, would turn down the chance to play in the PL to play for the club they support.
