I did have a standard one but got this one for free. Had it set up correctly and it runs great with it on. Heard stories of them running rich but mine seems fine.

they cant react fast enough under boost. i had one and spent ages trying to get fuelling right and couldnt. saked it off as it was utter wank. 2wd cossie one is the future.

id honeslty get rid of it. they really are rubbish.

Well at the moment, it does the job on standard boost. When it's phase 2 or so I'll consider that. Cheers Nic

Nice little project there matey.

just to say on the car cover front (I guessing you been using it for a few months) but be really really carefully when using these on resprayed cars.

I brought a really expensive one from Coverzone and it suffocated my paintwork, and then in the cold weather froze to it and damaged the paint.

And the car had been find for 2 years after its respray.

Just thought I would say if it saves trouble.

Cheers mate. I'll keep an eye on that. I do remove it every other day just to let it breathe that little more.

Yeh it's cracked. Just repainting it now as it was a red base which I then masked the lettering and painted over in grey. But I didn't prime the second cote so it cracked under heat.

Update:

Made a start with the red hoses today. I've decided I'm going all out with chrome bits, red silicone hoses and anthricite covers etc. I want this bay looking as clean as the outside and that aint gonna be cheap! But who cares.
So got this turbo to AFM Roose hose from Chris Astley. I know it looks mish mash with the blue boost pipe but thats being replaced soon with a polished hard pipe.

Yeh I'm going to get chrome washer bottle and header tank also.
I've had bonnet lifters before but couldn't get on with them. The one side was really stiff and used to kick the p/s of the bonnet up when it was closed so took them off
