They were on the news the day before saying how their kids were missing school exams to go down because it's once in a lifetime.

No exams, no decent job, dole, tramps, the circle continues.

its just the way football is im afraid, its the sport that seems to attract these dickheads.

ever seen anything like that kick off at a rugby match???? didnt think so. I was a Scotland Vs Engalnd six nations game, ended up out drinking with 4 english fellas i hadnt met before afterwards. What about motorsport? nope, no violence associated with that. Tennis? Golf? plenty of people passionate about those sports but there doesnt seem to be any riots with them. i pity the honest, hand working, ordinaly Gers fan tbh.

just back

cant even find a way to defend these arseholes, altho its a minority of fans, a minority of 150,000 is still a shit load of people.

whole event was a disgrace start to finish, decided we would go to picadilly so got the train from wigan into picadilly, got on the train only to find no stewards conductors or anyone and 1000s of fans trying to get on the trains, once it was on its way it was a good laugh singing in good spirit etc, got off the train and manchester was PACKED it was a sea of red white and blue a beautiful sight. but it was from there you could see disaster coming, i only counted about 10 police officers on my travels to picadilly square.

got there around 2pm to find no beer for miles, had to get a taxi out of town buy a couple of cases of beer and get back in. when we got back in it was even busier, couldnt move for masses of people and already there was a shit load of mess.

got into picadilly where they had the big screen around 5pm and boy was it a shambles, 3 folk at the gate not even batting an eye lid to fans entering. there wasnt a portaloo for miles instead they had told us to "use the wall as a toilet" so we had 100s of men women and children against a wall, it was sick and shouldnt have happened. place was already crammed full and messy and as soon as they announced the big screen was fucked it was a disaster from there on, bottles going right left and centre needless to say we made a quick exit from there, only to be met by heavy police outside trying to fill 2 busses up with fans to take to the velodrome 2 buses for 20,000 people was a bit silly, managed to catch the 20mins of the game in a shop window. once it had finished the police began to move in and try and disperse us and this is when it got messy, we were told to go get trains busses and taxis out of town etc, but then 2minutes later told no taxis were entering the city busses were cancelled and train station was closed. NOW you're gonna get a riot women children and old people stuck miles away from any safe places. saw a few young bams fighting with each other and decided time to get to fuck out of here, walked 3/4 mile out towards wigan and managed to get a taxi then but only because we overpayed for it.

they didnt expect that amount of people and under staffed the whole event, it was a shambles and a damn shame for some of us fans who went for a good time, the idiots starting riots etc need to take a look at themselves and the image they put on club.. wankers. the car getting smashed up was a taxi that had run over a gers fan after trying to burst through them ... again needless.

havent watched any videos yet but i dont really want to as its a shame for the club and will just sicken me.

on another note, sad news about tommy burns, great man and did alot for scottish football, RIP

Those pictures doesnt show young thugs as expected, more pissed off elderly fans taking a beating.

Imagine if P in the Dark was a sell out, ev everyone made their way to the venue then qued to get in, had some ale & waited on the 1st act to start. Only to be told there would be none coming on as there had been a technical problem.......there would be quite a few irate people.

Now put that into a park in manchester, which has run out of beer, no toilets, no space to move around, very little police/security, then to be told no football match. Bound to get ugly!!

Sounds like pish poor planning holds the key to disaster here to me at least.

Im not saying the fans arnt to blame, however its been almost inevitable. If you hold a match to a can of petrol it will explode!!

Coppers were batton charging everyone and his leg near enough get ripped off by the Police Dog. He was left on the floor & was only help up by other fans going to his aid as the paramedics wouldn't go anywhere near the area.

He was laying on't floor with blankets over him shaking like fuck when I last saw him, so to it "serves" him right is a stupid comment to make, especially when you done know what actually happened

If it happened at P in the dark everybody would take it in the spirit of the weekend and go back to the tent with a geetar and have some more bucky.

Exactly theres always 2 sides to these pics, the ones people want to believe (Usual Hun getting in trouble dribble) & the one that actually happened as seen by someone that was there, unfortunatelly no ones interested in that one!
