Ive a funny feeling this will be the plan in the future, some sort of sale and buy-back agreement as I cant see the Glaziers getting all the money needed any other way.

exactly. Its Utds biggest asset and they WILL take advantage of that.
And Sooty, you do realise just how much debt they are in and have to pay back in 5 years dont you? They arent rich enough to just dip in their pockets and pay it off. And even if they milk all their businesses for 5 years it wont cover all that.

no....second largest turnover...certainly not richest anymore. Infact Im guessing your probably the poorest club on paper.
And they have loans secured against the club of £265mil that have to be paid within 5 years. VenomTurbo posted it before and half my posts were about it. Did you not read anything?!!

"Once the company is taken off the Stock Exchange, Glazer can call an extraordinary general meeting to ask for United to become a private company and for his personal debts to be transferred onto the club.
Through Red Football, Glazer has borrowed £265million secured against United's assets and a further £275million in "pay-in-kind" loans known as Piks. These are thought to have to be repaid within five years and have very high interest rates of around 18 per cent, and it is these which could then be transferred onto the club"

With Man Utds tickets increasing in price by some stupid percentage and record attendances, 73,000 for their last home game, I fail to see why the topic of conversation has switched to Glazier. Man Utd won't go bust. Fact.

People said the same about leeds and Forentina, in the top 20 richest clubs in the world as little as 4 years ago.
But on a better note ballack number 13, galles number, he is been a gem in there defence making up for terrys lack of pace, i believe he will be missed.

They get 3mil a game, but its regardless when they have 500+ mil in loans against them with 5 yrs to pay them off. And yeah it is highly unlikely they will go bust but stranger things have happened and richer people than the Glaziers have gone bust in the past.
You've also got to remember that Glaziers plan was based on Utd getting to atleast the 1/4 finals of the Champs League for the revenue. They didnt last year and if they dont again then thats a hell of alot of money they are going to have to find to make up for it!

real madrids backer is the king of spain, thats why they cant go bust!!
Man Utd are a business, they can go bust just as easily as any other company out there as its not like the Govt will run in and bail them out (although someone else would Im sure but it would involve huge cost cutting like Leeds)

oh Im sorry, didnt realise that I have to go to Uni in Liverpool and live there when I support them. And what the fuck are you on about, your a typical Manc livin in Newcastle.
You cant argue with the facts and figures as much as you might like to. The fact is you have over 500million secured against the club with 5 years to pay half of that back at a stupidly high rate of interest. Yes you may get 3mil a game, and yes you may have a huge shirt deal, and yes you might have a huge worldwide fanbase....but you need to make around 50mil a year profit AFTER tax which if you look at previous years (which I posted) you have NEVER done.
