Sad to hear, but I understand where your coming from although I went to a nova from a corsa it was one of the best things I did, once the nova is done I'm looking for something bigger and better aswell nova will just be a toy

It's not worth the money and effort put in to it to get it to somewhere that I could buy for less money with a better chassis and engine.

I'll still be on here regularly but the corsa has had it's time and I'm no longer enjoying it.

The next car won't get as much work done in terms of engine conversion but there should still be some fun doing stuff to it

I'll let you know once I've test driven one

To be honest it's only the last week or two I've been thinking this and have been working out what I want in a car etc.

My plans were going to go ahead making it RWD next year but I've decided I'll just get something already set up for that

I've thought about a second car etc and stuff like that but I can see this just being left at my nans or something and never being used so would make more sense doing what I am doing as I'll hopefully have something more reliable and quite fun

Keep it and get a 2nd car you will get enthusiasm back for it after a few months.
And you will hate working on the new car. When its a 2nd car its so much better and relaxing working on them you dont have to rush.

Huge shame that Darryl, why don't you leave it your nans for a bit get the car you want then see how you feel about the corsa after a few months because trust me you will end up missing having a quick little hatch to zip round in.

I know how this feels as iv been there bought a newer more reliable car as daily and kept the corsa as a little toy/project/money pit

I still prefer my corsa over my Astra mk5 turbo its just much more fun getting back into the corsa after driving the big heavy boat of a Astra but couln't use a lowered corsa as a everyday car again

And have to agree with Ash about not having to worry & rush when working on it as a second car it much more better.

Exactly that mate. It's been good fun and has gained me some great memories and met some truly awesome guys through having it so it's not all bad

I'll still be on the site and coming to meets/shows I just won't have a griffin on the bonnet...
