such a transformation, there surely can't be more you want to do to it?

Your right mate yeah there isnt a lot at all left that I want to do to it. Between now and PVS theres a couple of little changes I'll be making to finish it off, nothing major though! After that the plan is just to keep it as clean as possible

 Sweet! Cheers for that mate
At least I know where to look now! I think its going to be a job to do when I rewire my alarm in. I can do it all in one hit that way.
Nibnob, not keen on flocked dash's if im honest
They are alright in proper track cars but I don't think it would suit mine with the leather

 | lmao sounds like a plan

Little update to report people. Before I fitted my sexy leathers I had some grey alcantara gear gaiters which looked great with my sport interior but looked well out of place now with the new seats
So they had to go. I got hunting on ebay and found these bad boys for £9 delivered! Bargain!
 Out with the old -

 New!

Also took a quick snap of my new sunvisors that marksport very kindly gave me and wired up for me

Last sunday I decided to get cracking with changing my alternator over. I've had a squeeking noise coming from the aux belt area now for around 6 months and its literally be driving me mental. The car sounded fucked!

firstly removed the strut brace, and inlet etc to get access to it.

tbh it was a hell of a lot harder than I thought it would be. I thought it would be done in a hour or so...god how wrong was I

we eventually got the old alternator out
Wouldnt come out the top so we dropped it down under the car

Quick pic to compare the old one with the nice new one

Then the heavens opened and I couldnt do anymore
The weather has been shit here all week, the only times it been dry ive been at work so its sat like this on the drive until friday -

The weather on friday was a lot better so me and my dad started fitting the new one. The first problem we had was that the new alternator was slightly bigger than the old one and it wouldnt clear the drive shaft
damn it! So we had to lower down the d/s shaft to give us enough room to get it up into place. Got there in the end and refitted all the inlet and belt etc ready to start it up

I started it up and there was no noise. Happy days I thought...2 seconds later it went back to its old tricks and started doing it again
It was a good job I didn't have a hammer in my hand, I probably would have smashed the bloody thing to death! I was stumped at this point. I couldnt understand what was wrong, I'd replaced everything to do with the aux belt. So me and my dad quickly whipped the belt off again and started it without the belt. As before when I've taken the belt off it doesnt make the noise
I had a spare belt in my room so I went and grabbed it. The first thing that confused me was how it looked brand new
Then it suddenly dawned on me what a retard I am when I first tried sort the noise I bought a brand new GM belt from vauxhall. When I went to change it I must have put the old one back on instead of the new one...oh dear lol. We whacked this other belt on and the noise has completely gone woop!
So I spent about £130 + a god knows how many hours changing the pas pump, tensioner, and alternator when I didn't even need to
dumbass springs to mind lol. Ahh well at least its sorted now. Its so much nicer to drive now though, I'd forgotten how quiet it is without the noise

 | When I got my first Corsa two years ago this car is the one that inspired me and it still does. Not seen one that even comes close to it. Shame I haven't got the money to get mine similar!

 | Stunning love the gaitors.

Was the handbrake hard to do and did you need to remove the handle?

 | If it was anything like my leather one in my van mark its not too hard to do. inside out over the handle then pull cable tie tight, snip it off and tuck under carpet. bit mind numbing though working out how it fits under the carpet. you have to put one end in with the handbrake up and the other end in with the handbrake down.
