I bought a fake tag on holiday when i was about 15yrs old. Sold it to a guy at school. Many years later i joined a corrado forum and recognised someone from the avatar and it was the chap i sold watch to.

True story.

Either way, if someone is happy with a fake then as long as they are happy it doesn't matter what people on a corsa forum think.

No one said fakes are an investment,

Did you not mention this in the previous thread?

BIL has one of those, possibly blue second hand and whatever colour goes along with that.

Fanny magnet

French fanny magnet in my experience.

You spelled penis wrong mate.

No, you did. It doesn't start with a 'B' or end with a 'G'. Plus there's no space.

Might as well chuck this in here, got round to buying my watch for my 30th yesterday. Spent less than I intended and walked away with a quartz but tbh I'm not bothered about the movement or resale value etc. I simply went with the one I liked the look of the most and what suited me best. Anyway, very happy with the bezel size but I think they've taken one too many links out, what do you think? As you can see I've hardly any room to play with here...

This is as far towards my hand it'll go without pushing it. I'm just used to being able to flick my wrist and my watch going beyond the sticking out bone on the wrist (can't remember what to call it lol)

Been looking on Watchuseek and it seems many people do wear them just as tight, I wonder if it's just because I'm not used to it.

the monaco ones -I like the Monaco range but needs to be the right one

I.e with the 11 movement so the crown is on the opposite side like the originals

the original Monaco's and silverstones had the crown on the left as they fitted the movement upside down to add the chrono function to a mechanical watch

Obviously over the years as movements developed there was no need to do this but the re-issue models try and stay as close to the original design as possible whereas the latest monaco are not limited and use later movements

Always have to remember to wind my silverstone the opposite way to my others

The cheaper ones are terrible, the quality is pretty shocking, especially the straps. At the lower end you definitely pay for the tag badge and nothing else.

Looks like thats a quartz one? Will be far lighter than a mechanical movement. Also not a chance in hell I'd be paying a grand for an electronic watch, unless it was a GPS Seiko.
