Think that's rooneys level though. Can't perform and looks old and slow in the big games. He would be a decent championship player in another season or so for the likes of qpr

I still rate Rooney as a top player. He's been asked to play out of his position time and again this season, but he still gives it a go. Don't know many forwards who'd play a deep midfielder role or left winger, but he does.

has he been asked or do they know he just can't cut it as a frontman anymore though? Last few years he has been off the pace a lot.
