played through 3 hours of skyrim so far and i have to say the game itself is just like fallout but a different setting..
the worst part about the game is the UI utter fucking shite! even on consoles its bad.
PC players beware.. your going to have a right job getting used to this

yeah read a few reviews where they say the NPCs do random shiz. funniest one is NPC's sliding down stairs when you're talking to them

always the way with eldar scrolls games though, its a big world game, if you start trying to analyze all the detail you will soon find faults

Well from the comments about npc seems I was correct
I'm not grumpy, just don't believe all the hype.

You don't need to analyze to see npcs falling downstairs.

It looks disapointing graphically, minimum requirements on the PC are nothing demanding either.

from what i have seen it looks decent, definately better then oblivion which is good enough for me as i thought at the time oblivion was stunning
id be happy just with oblivion again, but a new story etc obviously.
these games are amazing not because they are bug free or graphically intricatly perfect but because of the depth size immersion etc

Yeah I agree with that, the sheer size of the world and everything you can do/interact with make up for it

The world isnt actually that big, its big yea but there are lots of places like the mountains where there are just 1 path so its a bit of a cheat tbh.
Couple more hours in and im starting to get used to the UI. It still feels clunky and just wrong but im just dealing with it.
I can deffinatly say it looks a lot better than oblivion! Mine is on max everything but shadows and runs fine.

I downloaded it. WOuld i buy it... No.
My only reason for that tho is the way its been ported across to pc. The ui is just shite stuff doesnt click with the mouse, switches you from using the keyboard to mouse just navigating the menu systems, very annoying. If it wasny ported and had a better ui then i probably would of bought it.

yeah unfortunately seems to be the way with pc games these days, design a game first for the console then think about the pc after.
i guess theres more money to be made with console gaming
