So are you saying all the weight of the wheels is on the welds on these long bolts?

That is just going to snap, I'm not sure how you can make that any stronger

If I am correct you have welded the heads of those bolts to the trailer and the other end to the hubs? If so that is incredibly dangerous and will not be safe. The bolts are designed for a car, but are designed to pass through the hub and the subframe/chassis - not be welded (badly) to it. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ON THE ROAD - YOU WILL END UP HURTING SOMEONE OR DAMAGING SOMETHING!
