Throttle pedal on the Mk V GTI was floor mounted... weird feeling at first but so much better... think the Mk IV is the same?

New bit of steerign arm and track rod end is on and 2 new tyres comign tomorrow, then I need to get the trackign checked, then its in for its service next week
