Anything before 1980 should be forgotten about. including 1966, 67 and 72.

There are pics of that guy in the dog handlers face with a can of stella, wholly deserved bite to the calf.

The sun also has multiple pictures of looting shops and superstores as well, they turned the place into a war zone. Disgrace, pure and simple.

Couldn't agree more. On a day we should be celebrating the life of a genuinely great man, we are instead looking at the carnage low life's have made.

They were on the radio saying there were only 40 arrests, wonder if that was anything to do with the fact you can't arrest thousands of people with 5 police in high vis jackets.

I still maintain its a small amount of fans thats ruined it for everyone else. even if there was 200 fans rioting the 99.99% havnt been & enjoyed the game. The place was ill equipped for so many people to attend.

The stabbing & rioting was out of order but its football, its not the 1st time & wont be the last.

What about when a handfull of England fans almost ruined the euro champianships a few years back, it was just a small % of thugs that go out their way to cause trouble, theres things in place to stop these people going abroad to football games but when its just 4hrs drive south its clear these creeps are going to come out the shadows to cause bother, obviously watched ID or football factory too many times.

Disapointing but all the band wagon-ies jumping on saying typical huns this, usual rangers support etc is just a bit silly.

Think about the numbers involved!

It's more than a couple hundred Colin it's there in black and white, Greater Manchester Police have went to the extent of releasing that on YouTube just to disprove they were not the agressors in any way shape or form.

If you're wanting to play the numbers game then;

- 80,000 Celtic fans travel to Seville for UEFA Final, not one arrest was made. Celtic fans make history by becoming the first group of people not only to win the UEFA Fair Play award but also the FIFA version.
- 20,000 Celtic fans travel to Barcelona, Celtic fans took their own bin bags handed out by the club to clean up after themselves. Not 1 flashpoint of trouble.
- 100,000 Rangers fans travel to Manchester for UEFA Final, Manchester resembles Baghdad the next day. 40 reported arrests and major backlashes predicted from footballing associations.
- 20,000 Rangers fans travel to Barcelona, century old monuments are destroyed and fountains are used as toilets. The city tells them never to return.

We all knew this was going to happen and the fans knew all eyes were on them yet they still act like caveman knowing the potential repercussions for the club they supposedly support. It's beyond shameful imo.

Far more then 200 fighting, there are various areas where they are rioting and each area alone has far more then 200 people. I do feel sorry for the genuine fans however.

For the record as well i have family and friends that travelled to Manchester, i've yet to speak to them but i can guarantee they won't be happy if they're banned from Europe due to the moronic element of their support.

So i agree the genuine fans that went down to get pissed and cheer their team on only to be tarred with the same brush i do feel sorry for.
