yup they are illegal. i locked my car up till the vosa had left before driving it home so i didnt get stopped.

While i was there i spoke to them the next day i went to the police station to see what there take was on if i refused to take them off had i been pulled.

The end of the day i might have them (well had) but i was aware that if i was stopped id have to take them off.

dave that only mentions the MINIMUM amount of light allowed to pass through, nothing about 100% of light, ie, no tint at all...

I see.

I still dont think you get 100% no tint, is it not a saftey standard that glass has a slight tint.

safety against what its no different to looking out your bedroom window

its different glass. heat etc getting in, vision etc.

no where that anybody has looked up has said ur aloud no tint at al its all said the same as i have from the very beggining that u can have as dark as u want on the back but they have got to let 70% of light in on the front which is wot my old car had and i neva got stopped, i once got pulled for a light being out and they didn't say anything about my tints so they cant give that much of a shoot!

as i said before the police have to have vosa present to do anything. Yes you are allowed tint on the front IF it doesnt take you over the limit. your just not getting that ANY tint will take the front over the limit

thank fcuk for that

you are correct Sam, its not technically illegal to have tints (yet) UNLESS they take the combined amount of tint over the limit (incuding the manufacturers tint)

so considering ALL lupos had factory tinted glass, it will go over the limit...

If you're going to say something, back it up. You can't have an 8 page argument based on what you think is the case.
