well thats down to taste, just thought the "ruined" comment was a bit harsh. I havent been a fan of gold alloys, but reasearch the rallying history of subaru and you will see what the whole gold wheels thing is about.

Subaru and Prodrive are in fact trying to get away from the gold wheel trend on the production cars

I'll just quickly run out and buy some new wheels then

Like I said, I bought the car as it stands, minus spoiler.

Gold wheels also wouldn't have been my choice, neither would silver for that matter, but like it or lump it, it's not "ruined" and is still a respectable scooby, which has the thumbs up from everyone on scoobynet

must of admit i do love the civic type-rs having driven my dads old one etc but most of the owners (except me dad) are tits that realy bugs me
