I think it was deserved. I asked him if we had enough potatoes for tea, and he said yes, turned out we only had 2
so we had mince and tattie for tea...and then he had the cheek to try and steal some of mine...when I always give him the bigger portion

well it's usually mince and tatties...but we only had one each so technically mince and tattie

erm....
brown the mince, add carrots and onion and a stock cube and water....cook for a while. when it's just about ready add in bisto gravy. Mashed tatties.
I find it best all mushed up with tomato ketchup
