idiots.

Incorrect Paul you didn't have 'no chance' to begin with and you still don't have 'no chance' when the money goes up. Your scientific logic behind every single little aspect of life fails you once again

I agree. There is the same amount of balls, same sort of numbers. Same odds of winning. Just a shit lot more at stake!

In fact, you have a 1 in 25 chance of winning a prize, so you may just get your £1.50 back

Also, on draws like this the prize cannot roll over, it just goes down to the next level. Giving you a tiny, tiny, tiny bit more of a chance

What was up your ass last night Paul. Nearly as big a rant as Steve the other night

I only do the lottery when it gets to high figures like this, would rather not spend a few quid to win a few million as not worth it IMO

Ok all that called me a 'cock' or said i was an idiot.

How many of you are sitting on millions of pounds now?

Exactly, fuck off.

My opinion about the lottery system is that it should be based on a raffle style basis... So that the less tickets that are bought, the less the prize, but the greater your odds... The more tickets bought, the less your odds, but the larger the prize.

eck the odds of winning the jackpot of euromillions is far worse than the normal lottery... 1 in 76,000,000 rather than 1 in 14,000,000

My point however was made as you're all just lining the pockets of the corporations that run it.

difference being. SOMEONE or SOME PEOPLE had to win it. obviously the millions of people who play the lottery are all wrong? 1.50 for a shot at winning 95 million for some people is well worth it. as people have said u gota be in it to win it.

The lottery generally has a winner Barnshaw, but Euromillions often Has no jackpot winner at all, that's why it just keeps rolling over and over...

I have no real problem with people playing the lottery if they want to, it's just euromillions that I don't get, as surely the amount you'd win from normal lottery (say 6 million) would be plenty for most people, better odds than euromillions (usually a jackpot winner a week) and cheaper.

Because a lot of people dont think the odds of 14m to 1, or whatever you said they were, is worth throwing away a few quid to win £6m...or a lot lot less in real terms as is often split.

Where as when its so much more, such as last night, people think nothing of throwing £4.50 away for a few lines for the chance of winning a hell of a lot more - even if the pot is split.

Plus our lottery only has a max rollover of 3 times, which it has done so before, so may well of rolled over a few more times than that in the past if allowed.
