u2u Ian. I personally think there are no real good going out trainers, unless its going out to the cinema or something, then Stan Smiths all the way

Stan smiths rock..end of thread, think I will close it
If it's pub / cinema etc it's stans all the way(only with jeans though)..Obviously more dressy needs to be shoes.

Cheap at £55, for Lacoste trainers of similar style, you'd pay £70+. Sole is really hard, thought they'd be uncomfortable, but they aren't.
Pretty good for driving too

i think stan smiths are a bit on the boring side now, prefer some other less obvious adidas myself, only problem is 9 1/2s are a fortune for the proper good pairs of adidas now eg malmo's,munchens, jeans etc

There are so many different styles / colours of Stan Smiths though..I like plain white simple trainers to wear with jeans..

I got mine from Sports Soccer a while back, they were knocking them out at about £15, not sure if they still have any now though.

That has to be the gayest collection of shoes ever! And you wear skinny trousers? Don't they hurt you balls?
