you sound like a smoker, chances are the 4 tins of chemicals you sup a day will be having detremental effects on your health.
I know it effects atheletes in hot conditions, although not relevent it shows it has effects!

I posted some facts of it up before. Alot of what is posted about is pure myth (such as the Taurine in it being really bad for you...when this is used in babies milk formula!)
The worst thing is the caffiene and sugar, but again these are things people have a lot more of in things such as coffee and other fizzy drinks.

FFS Im not having a go at you for smoking.
Robin has said he thinks bars shouldnt be non-smoking, and that all the negatives for this are by non-smokers. So Im wondering what he sees as the positives of being able to smoke in a bar regardless of if your a smoker or not.
So if youve nothing to say on that STFU please!

TBH, I see your point, but I think it should eb down to the landlord, not the goverment.
The pubs in my village, are all frequented by smokers, and always have been, and the non smokers have dealt with that for years.
BUT, in restaurants, shopping centres, pubs with children, workplaces, I agree.
(all of the pubs near me are run by families, so they don't really fall into the workplace thing IMO )

but surely it would be best if the people putting others health in danger (smokers) be put out, rather than for non-smokers to have to sit there in a pub and have to breath all the shit in?
I do see your point though about it being the landlords choice in non-food serving places, and TBH I expect there to be smoking in pubs when I go even though Id prefer there not to be.

never said you was havin a go all i'm sayin is you need to stop trying to get people to explain the various aspects of smoking to you coz being a none smoker you will never understand anyway.
Hence - we smoke, you dont, end of.

no I dont smoke as its bad for my health, not because I dont understand it
And this wasnt anything to do with the 'aspects of smoking' it was about his opinion that smoking in a bar should be allowed and I wanted to know what he thought the positives of being allowed were.
I wasnt asking you as you never said anyhting about it, so I dont know why your replying anymore TBH, and Robin (who the question was directed at, hence I said Robin in it) seemed to get what I was asking

its not. But you jumped in all defensive like Im attacking you personally. When the person I was actually asking the question to (about something he had said himself) could see the point I was making.

i dont try to justify my smoking, i know its bad for me but i dont like trying to quit, i feel like crap and get very stressy and aggrevated, which isnt very good for me while im at college, i will probably quit after my exams like i did last year, then start again when i start uni

I think someone said that in moderation it has no health issues and can calm people (WITH NO HEALTH ISSUES!) and also certain types of alcohol can be good for you.
