But you started making assumptions like 'were you four up with your mates?' - what sort of reply do you expect from that dan? Yes you've made a few mistakes behind the wheel I bet.

a few only....
but this isnt about me, make a thread if you please about my driving if thats where you want to discuss it surely, it was an accurate assumption wasnt it he had other people in the car admittedly only his brother and therefore from the eyes of plod thats more of a reason to punish him as its setting an example, so me saying what i believe the mentality of the police officer at the time is makes me a badger and on a high horse? i still believe what they did was right and now mobby needs to be more careful behind the wheel

No, your general attitude towards this thread makes it sound like you typing it from your very high horse Dan.
Not very accurate no, you guessed 4 and he had only one extra passenger.
They are not setting an example, this section 59 BS has been out for ages, they are just flexing their powers because they have nothing better to do like catch real criminals.

section 59's are just like asbo's? so is this when the police don't have evidence, or don't have anything at all, give you one of these.
i got one for my exhaust in the corsa sitting at traffic lights, yet when caught doing a dounghnuts in the justy at night in a car-park, they asked what kind of car it was, then told me to move on.
Personally think you were a bit unlucky mate!

my attitude? i dont have an attitude, he has done something wrong, he has to pay £150 to get his car back, seems steep yes but justified as theres been two separate incidents within two days, what isnt accurate is the description of the events, racing a polo gti and a small wheelspin? im sure if this was explained there would be a reason why the police came down on him like they have

I did both of those "crimes" on my 10 minute journey today
Although it was a Civic Type R not a polo, maybe that makes all the difference

How did the police find out about this wheelspin? Did they see it?
tbh the police see in black and white most of the time. I've yet to come across a wanker of an officer, but I think it's partly to do with the fact that whenever I've been pulled over I've just been pretty cooperative - mostly because I know I've deserved it whenever I've been stopped.
But if a policeman sees you doing a wheelspin in a Corsa he's going to go out of his way to get you done. No matter how decent you may seem.

So a member of the public basically saw you doing a bit of a wheelspin, phoned the police and they've taken your car off you?
So in theory a member of the public has taken your car off you through the police?
What a load of wank.
