V Sport could be a trading name of Dave A holdings or something.

Don't people have receipts off of him for things they have bought which will give you the details?

That true? (I know you have inside info). As if so that is a HUGE amount.

Yeah, I well aware of the difference

But still, £1m turnover is a large figure for what seemed at the time not exactly a huge set up.

Yeah, turnover, not profit.

PVD was extremly busy, got to remember there were no other vauxhall tuning companies bar Courtenay and Regal. But there were "tuning" companies and PVD offered a lot of imported items. There was no-one else selling ALL the bodykits, alloys, wheels etc so they had a huge market and no-one to compete with them.

PVD could have been big, really big, but one greedy AW MD who wanted to look good rather than make the business work, is what it took to destroy the company.

He got greedy, pure and simple.

Why someone needs a 3.2 V6 Omega, a VX220 Turbo, a £20k+ Corsa, P1NKY the van, plus a brand new Vauxhall van (one of the biggies, don't know the name, similar size to a transit), plus I think there was another car too.

Top hotels, top flights when flying to germany for the shows, instead of a normal hotel, normal flights etc...

But it was because he wanted to show off to everyone.

Because for whatever reason vsport went down the pan and he didn't have it to pay back most likely.

about time too. Possibly Damage limitation rather than good customer service though.

However I am sure people will make of this what they will.

Thing is, a lot of his client base will come from forums.

Surley as any level headed good business owner would rather get the problem sorted asap..

Rather than dragging it, dragging it, threatening police action.

Meanwhile, word is spreading all over UK modified car sites to stear clear of his company.

Personnally, i'd have got it sorted, held hands up, made public apologies, let everyone know it was a mistake, then get it sorted asap.

No his company, and his name, have been given hugley bad press, and his business WILL suffer becuase of it.

If it had been sorted straight away, the business reputation would have been kept, his name would have been kept, and people would be happy to trade with him still.

Got to laugh about that as im un-effected.

Its not just over the 2k though, his thread about setting up said he had borrowed huge amounts. So if his rates all went up due to the credit crunch then he may well of felt the squeeze.

Also heard about banks/lenders demanding their money back from small businesses forcing them to close so this could ahve come in to play. If that is the case though i don't see why he couldnt just explain that to people.
