I went to see jamie lomas (warren from hollyoaks) in play nightclub in swansea last week,he was pissed off his face all night,yet the club was packed with people who wanted to see him.
and people go to watch footy (ill never now why) but if your team plays badly,whats the diffrence? you still go see them again if they play badly.
Not if they're all so smacked up they don't know what football is.

You wanted to see some b lister actor (dj'ing presumably) more fool you, please refer to my celebrity obsessed comments much ealrier in the thread. If you are going to see people just to catch a glimpse of them (rather than see them performing there talent to the best of there ability) ten you are just as bad as 'the people who read the papers'

She is talented. There is no disputing that. But the way she goes around, always getting in the news about her drug addiction is not good and you really can't defend that. She must know whats going on and if she persists on staying on the drugs then ffs get out the fucking news and stay locked away, anything. And try and do a gig not off her face. There are fans out there that adore her for her music so she could at least try and give them something back surely?

Towards the end of his career,elvis presley was always off it on coke,he did quite a few set's off it on coke never bothered anyone aslong as they saw him.

Couldnt give a shite if musicians take drugs as long as they can perform as well as they should be able to. Amy winehouse however was absolutely dire and a disgrace and all of this was down to drugs.
You keep saying why can we not see past the drugs.
Im pretty sure we all tried and failed because it was the effect of the drugs that were staring us in the face with her slurring, staggering about, fallin out her dress and then eventually lashing out at someone.

The fact she turns up so hammered that a dying camel could sing better, or doesn't turn up at all is why folk are hating her. She's fucking over the people who made her who she is. I personally can't wait until she dies. Wonderful talent or not, the day she is buried will be placed on my calender as a celebration.

I'll sum it out very quickly infact, forget the drugs, forget her bf being an idiot, and forget how many fans love her.
If I was a so called fan and I had to pay to go see her, I would be fuming if she insulted her audience by performing like that. No mention of her private life at all, just an opinion based on from the start of the concert to the end.

Couldn't agree more....spot on with that comment.
Her singing was just muffled, crap and very unclear. Compare her performance to that of the Verve and there is a million miles of difference

End of the day the Beetles, Stones, Elvis, Hendrix, uncle dick - WHOEVER in the past could take gear & still give an award winning performance. That display by wino was beyond a joke, Sounded like a total amature fucked out their face doing karaoke in some backstreet pub. Not a 200 quid a ticket gig.

Well he adores her, sometimes when you are a fan of someone you find it hard to listen to people stating bad things about them, when you half know it's true yourself, you can lie to everyone but not yourself, he'll be sat reading all 6 pages and he does agree, just won't let us lot know.

Ive watched it three times and i agree when she was off the stage in the crowd she was terrible,but on stage she was good.i guess i do need a reality check

Her album was good, and before all these drug related stuff she was good live, but now she does act a little odd when she's live and stuff, if she get herself clean again then it'll be back to the old Amy.
