Planty.

So you walk away, tell the police, which would only make them come after you again all the more.

Or you sort it ot there and then and not looklike a coward.

I know which id rather

I'd rather have a clean criminal record

...another scenario, you "sort it out", then the other party come back from you and "sort it out" again. Where does it end? People end up dead with this kind of attitude

Agree with little_duke, as some chavvy lads were like that with me, til they threw an apple through the window of my car hitting me, now they don't mess as I chased them down the road with the steering wheel lock.

Its all gone abit testosterone (i know i cant spell it but cant think off another word lol) what i dont understand is if you and this lad had a problem why your mate went and pasted him then you decided to get a shoe in. to be fair mate thats a bit wrong you should have sorted it from word go.

I don't like fights or fighting, but if they happen there's not much you can do really, as if someone started on me, I wouldn't want to get the crap beaten out of me, so I would fight back.

Dont be cocky with me.

and seeing as my cousin earns £3 - 400 a week delivering parcels driving the big huge lorrys for someone with a record and no qualifications a job like that is a real good job round here seeing as the basic wage of most people in wales is under £200 a week id say hes doing pretty well for himself. and his house his M3 Cabriolet and his wife and kid seeems to think its a good enough wage

I know loads of people who have been charged with numerous shit and they still all have good jobs.

My brothers mates been done for abh twice and hes a deputy store manager in tesco, another year or two and he will be store manager and yes thats a crap job

Criminal convictions makes no odds to employers thesse days.

And if it did theyd be breaking the law themselves

Well, after tax he's only going to be taking home about £1300. But I guess if you're happy making ends meet and working until you're 80 then there's nothing to stop you.

£1300 is more than enough to live on considering hes only 28 has his own 3 bedroom house an m3 cab a gourgeous wife whos a nurse and his 3 yr old daughter. hes more than happy.

and why would he have work till hes 80 you get a decent pension with royal mail.

and considering he started delivering mail by hand on a bicycle to driving the big lorrys after they payyed for him to do his hgv licence, hes not going to be a worker forever he plans on management when he gets bored and older.

Hes the one my parents have always told me to look up to and prove not all bad people have crap lives.

Hes changed for the better.

Load of shit

There is a lot of crap in this thread, it just reeks of people trying to make themselves look big and hard on a internet forums

If my house was burning down I'd phone the fire service, not try and put it out myself.
If I fell off my bike and broke my leg I'd phone an ambulance, not try and re-fuse the bone myself.
If I thought I was in danger I'd phone the police, not try and be a one man army and risk serious injury or a criminal record.

Grow some fucking common sense and some balls whilst your there - as I said earlier - it takes a bigger man to walk away

I worked for Royal Mail for almost 10 years and I can tell you that their pension scheme is a pile of shit, but maybe as I don't have a list of criminal convictions aslong as your mates arm I wasn't ticking the right boxes in the managements eyes.....

Oh and what relevance does the actractivness of his wife have to do with anything?
Oh and also, M3 cab with 3 kids? He's clearly not that fucking clever - more like somone who cares more about their image than the practicalitys of day to day life with three kids, also, a M3 cab on £400 / week (about 280-£300 take home)? Even with his gorgeous nurse wifes wages (which aren't much) I'd say he's got it on tick - which is even worse!

Your parents are right - you really should be looking up to your mate....

b) M3 cab is his,his wife drives a citreon picasso,m3 cab is a weekend toy.
c) i said one kid a little girl called ellie not three.
d) m3 cab is bought and payed for with his savings
e) the pension scheme seems to reasonible, better than a state pension.
f) i was just proving that somone with convictions can get a decent job,as ed said they wouldnt even get a job in mcdonalds.
G) and yes i look up to him as someone who was twat when young and has now turned his life around for the better.
H) i'd read things properly before you turn sarcastic to look big on a forum in future

So youd phone the police over a fight in a pub?

Says it all really, its hardly danger its a drunken scuffle in a pub

And yes im sure its common sense to walk away, but walking away in some cases makes matters worse, what happens when they see you out next time, its obvious theyd pick on you all over again then youd walk away like a coward till they see you again.

If you stand your ground to people like that most would leave you alone in future.

Walking away from problems just causes more, you been listening to the police too much, its not that easy to walk away from a fight in the real world.

Im just glad our not one of my freinds.my freinds would back me up not run away.

Tbh i go out alot, never been in a fight in my life, never plan to be in one either, but i know full well if one of my mates was on the floor getting the shit beaten out of her id stand up for her. If someone can stand there and watch there mate getting beat up then they obviously arent a very good friend.
