i do not hate english people and know many people the same

seth, tom and whoever else dont believe everything you read on this forum there are many scots who are proud to be part of the union and do not hate england

braveheart was about as factually correct as sleeping beauty

being proud to be scottish doesnt equate to hating england

I've read a few pages of this.

Shep, you are funny, rambling on about something you never even watched

And the scottish do hate the english. Some don't, majority do.

Its all about the politics, having to watch our TV, being run by an english government, etc etc etc... Although recently, the scotts have gone quiet now they have a scottish PM leading the UK...

there are certain elements of our countries press and people who feel that to be scottish you must hate the english

but not all people think like that

I've met loads of scots? I even work with some. They all hate the english, same as the welsh hate the english. Welsh hate the welsh too though (North Vs South).

Everyone in the UK hates the english. Might like the country though. Same way I LOVE america, but i can't stand americans...

When that came on, I went to do something else.

For anyone that thinks that dark haired crier boy had a better voice than that white haired welsh dude may as well enter XFactor themselves. They are as clearly delluded as some of the fruitcakes that go on there thinking they are great.

Welsh bloke performed week in week out, harldy missing a beat or a note. Week in week out got praise for clearly having the best voice in the show. He changed his styles and songs and IMO, even though I think he's a bit of a weirdo and a bit of a tit, had by far the best voice.

The scottish guy sounded like his balls were dropping still. Irratic every week, and IMO, can only sing those "Blues" type songs, same as that young little guy did last year. Kinda set to one style, and IMO, although he could sing, certainly isn't a star......

That welsh dude will go on to become a star. He has got talent.

Same way when a scottish person gets through to a final, they always win, as the country votes for their own, and not for the person with the talent. Fat scottish women singer (wheres she gone??), people on that big brother programe, yadder blah.

And IMO, frankly, the last 3 groups in that final shouldn't have been there. That welsh bloke, and some of the others that were kicked out. How that very VERY strange brother and sister, and that scottish guy got through, bemuses me....

The common factor again seems to be people that know you hating the english.

What are you basing that on?

I have no hatred towards England, what would be the point?

English press annoy me though, case in point was the semi final of the rugby world cup between South Africa & Argentina, commentator was slagging both teams saying they will need a vast improvement to beat AND earn the right to play England in the final

I have no problem or interest with the English, we'll be climbing above you's soon in the world rankings anyway

Read my above comment. Basing my opinion on experiences, not on what the press tell me to think thanks.

Am i being the ignorant, or are some of the scotts replining to a majority thought towards the english being the ignorants?
